It will go out into the water from Santiago de Chile between September and October next, then it will head east through the Strait of Magellan and Cape Horn. After which, it will go north until it reaches Buenos Aires, Argentina. Then, 7 or 8 months of crossing will have passed.
The tireless athlete will take between 4 and 5 months to rest and gather energy to complete the second and third phase of the trip, in the months of September 2012 and October 2013. Freya wants to end her journey in May 2014, before her 50th birthday.
