I made this cake and it is totally delicious. Incredible moist like a brownie. I used the 100% cacao, which has no added sugar. It’s all natural sugars from the cacao. Added Truvai for a sweeter taste. Used sugar-free Smugers caramel and sugar-free whip cream on top instead. It turned out delicious. In the cacao, 1/2 a cup will have 24 grams of natural occurring sugars for the whole cake. Plus, the natural sugars in the bananas are about 28 grams of natural sugars for the 2 bananas.
Great for those avoiding wheat gluten. Can’t exactly say no sugar, if you’re adding chocolate chips and melted chocolate at the end. But these “brownies” do look delicious.
This was absolutely DELICIOUS. I put coconut on top to add some more flavor. I was afraid of tasting the banana cause usually when I make stuff like that it never turns out nice. But I followed the recipe precisely except for adding different toppings. It turned out perfect. I was afraid I wouldn’t like it but it’s much better without the sugar in it not as sweet and overpowering. Definitely making this again.
