And it is that in the busy world in which we live, people spend little time sleeping, especially those who have a full-time job, which is due in large part to stress and work pressures.
The experts from the UK and Italy analyzed data from a total of 16 different studies across Europe, the US and Asia over 25 years, covering more than 1.3 million people and more than 100,000 deaths, showing real evidence of the powerful damage that can cause poor sleep habits.
According to the study, those who typically sleep less than six hours a night were 12% more likely to experience an early death in their first 25 years of life than those who typically sleep six to eight hours a night.
Another of the findings was that those who consistently sleep more than nine hours a night they are prone to more diseases. “Prolonged periods of sleep can be a very strong indicator of poor health,” says Professor Francesco Cappuccio, who led the study. On the other hand, the deterioration of health levels in different sectors is generally accompanied by the extension of sleeping hours.
Therefore, sleep well and you will have a healthy life;)
