The spectacular images are part of the contest of Photography Red Bull Illume 2016. The winners were revealed at the Art Institute of Chicago this week, chosen from 36,000 entries.
The absolute winner was the photographer Lorenz Holder for his impressive image of the athlete Senad Grosic riding his bike across a bridge in Germany and that thanks to its reflection in the water an almost perfect circle was created.
Other notables include fighter pilots, surfers climbers, skaters, skydivers and divers.
