The readers of El Viajero, the travel section of the website of the Spanish newspaper El País, decided long ago with their votes which were the most beautiful towns in Spain. From a list selected by the editors of the newspaper itself with 250 Spanish towns with less than ten thousand inhabitants, these were the five most beautiful towns in Spain according to the final result of the vote in which nearly five thousand people participated.

albarracin

Number one on the list went to albarracin, a town of just over a thousand inhabitants in the province of Teruel.
