If you were looking for the best beach in Cuba, it is good to know that the largest island in the Caribbean is not a destination to approach impromptu. There are plenty of beaches (here you have 5 beaches that look like natural pools in Cuba), and the beauty of the turquoise and crystal clear water sets the bar very high when it comes to choosing. But in this post we have one of the possible answers, an option to fall in love through each image of this literal paradise of Cuba:

In the selection of images and photos that follow, we focus on reflecting the unaltered purity of the place, its color, its calm, perhaps everything we are looking for to think of a quiet trip and where the beauty of the perfect tropical beach is the protagonist:

A video that will end up convincing us to travel to Cayo Largo.Images via Shutterstock Cayo Largo (or in its full name, Cayo Largo del Sur) is a destination with minimal services, where all the activity revolves around the sea and the beaches, almost all of them calm and with few visitors in sight, which helps to provide that image of “lost paradise” (although this does not mean that there are no beaches with services and amenities to enjoy without worrying about anything). The tourist companies that operate on the island offer excursions to explore remote beaches, dive, go fishing, or spend a full day on nearby islets. In Cayo Largo there is a town with hotels, a marina, shops, banks, and a plaza with artisans. The hotel zone is frequented by iguanas that are one of the nicest postcards of the place. To get around the island, there are taxi services, tourist buses that connect the town with the marina area, boats that connect with some of the secluded beaches or with Playa Sirena, one of the most famous. In addition, small jeeps or even bicycles can be rented.Where is Key Largo located? It is a small island at the eastern end of the Canarreos archipelago to the southwest of Cuba, and the closest major city is Nueva Gerona, but it is 134 kilometers away. The island is about 25 kilometers long, always surrounded by incredible beaches, for many the best in Cuba. How to get to Cayo Largo. There is a small airport on the island called Vilo Acuña, a few steps from the town and the hotels. There are flights that connect with cities like Havana, Trinidad or Varadero, and of course, as it is a remote island, there is no way to get there by car. Even from Varadero you can make a day trip to Cayo Largo. There are also some flights that connect with countries like Canada, or South America.
